Show Jumping
Information and Videos

Show jumping requires a horse and rider to move through a course of jumping obstacles; such as verticals, spreads, double and triple combinations, and done with many turns and changes in direction. The judging is based on the horse attempting an obstacle, clearing it, and finishing the course in a specified time. Working hunter classes are judged on movement, style, and manner.

Jumper courses are usually more technical and complex than hunter courses-due to the horse not being judged on style. Unlike Hunters, Jumpers are not scored on turnout; however, it always makes a good impression to have formal turnout and a neat appearance.

This is a video of the FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, Round 3 Part 1, 2, and 3. Featuring the winner Shutterfly. It shows the amazing ability of the horses and riders in competition!
