Please consult your veterinarian for the appropriate information regarding the diet of your horse. Each horse is unique and may have specific nutritional requirements for their optimal health.
This video describes feeding schedules. At our barn, the horses are fed grain two times daily, as well as, a good quality hay and pasture, weather permitting. Our horse also has a mineral block in her stall. Automatic waterers provide all the horses with fresh water at all times.
This video describes how to store food for your horse, as well as, how to feed your horse. Our hay is stored in a loft and grain is stored in large airtight containers.
